Tour overview
One day in Japan, visit four of the most popular picturesque sites in the Lake Kawaguchi region, all with Mt. Fuji as a backdrop. Admire the thatched cottages, charming villages, pagodas, and beautiful flowers.
Tour itinerary
On a guided trip from Tokyo, see the beauty and historic monuments surrounding Lake Kawaguchi. View Mt. Fuji while admiring traditional buildings, magnificent pagodas, and the brilliant flowers and plants of Oishi Park.
Take the shuttle bus or join the trip at the Shinjuku departure location and travel to the Mt. Fuji region. During the bus trip, you will be able to see Mt. Fuji from afar on clear days. Make your first visit to Arakurayama Sengen Park, one of Japan’s most renowned locations. Admire the picturesque vista of the five emblematic pagodas against the backdrop of Mt. Fuji.
Continue on from Mt. Arakurayama to the Kawaguchiko craft park, which is located close to Kawaguchi Lake. If you like, take your time eating lunch and walking around the lake, seeing Mt. Fuji’s reflection in the water.
After that, proceed to Oishi Park, which features a seasonal landscape with a variety of flowers. Finally, pay a visit to Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba, which is situated on the shores of Lake Saiko. Take a walk through the hamlet and marvel at the buildings with thatched roofs, which will provide you with an insight into life in Japan in the past. The trip will end at 6:15 PM when you will be dropped up in Shinjuku.

Testimonials
Some people didn’t enjoy the day because they clearly hadn’t read that we weren’t going to Mt Fuji but to the Great Lakes, which I thought was much better for pictures of the mountain. Also, keep in mind that you’re dealing with nature, so there was a lot of cloud, which I was fine with.

The trip was enjoyable. A nice sightseeing tour with a good view of Fuji-San. We were fortunate in that the weather was good and we could see the peak well – but this is not always the case. I would also advise you not to arrange anything after the trip because Tokyo traffic may be unpredictable, and returning to Tokyo on time is not assured.
