Choose from different departure times, get your safety gear, and board a shuttle to the river with only a small group for companionship. This beginner-friendly tour includes a leisurely paddle along a 3.1-mile (5-kilometer) length of this river as well as the opportunity to tackle modest micro rapids.

ONE OF THE TOP 20 EXPERIENCES IN THE UNITED STATES! On our most popular trip, you’ll have an exciting and safe time exploring the gorgeous Verde River! Enjoy the sights and local history on a 2 hour guided kayak tour down a magnificent stretch of the Verde River. Tandem or single inflatable high-water kayaks for safety, pleasure, and comfort, as well as high-capacity boats for larger or taller players, are offered. Check-in 45-60 minutes before your tour time.
A minimum of four people is necessary for the trip to begin. Tours that do not fulfill minimums are subject to free rescheduling. Water shoes must be worn. There will be no flip-flops or backless shoes allowed. Children under the age of 12 must ride in tandem with an adult. To participate in a guided tour, children must be 5 years old and weigh 50 pounds. Bring it, buy it, or rent it: we have it if you don’t! What to Bring: • Weather-appropriate clothing and water shoes. Footwear is required at all times. * A towel * Any necessary medications ***Water bottles or a refill station, as well as water shoes, are available for purchase or rental at the boathouse. • Sunglasses and sunscreen • Lip balm and hats • Splash bag and dry bag • Variety of snacks

This is a tour for a group. Latecomers will be required to reschedule. (Go towards Old Town Cottonwood and look for Vortex ATV in the parking lot.)
