Tour itinerary
Make your own way to Santorini’s historic port of Fira and catch the boat to the Santorini Volcano. Step ashore and travel down the volcano route with your guide as they deliver background information on the island’s geological treasures. Continue to the volcano’s peak (additional entrance cost), where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of this surreal terrain. After returning to the boat, the next destination is the hot springs island of Palea Kameni. There is ample time here to swim to the hot waters and benefit from their restorative effects. Your trip concludes with a drop-off in Fira’s historic port after a boat ride back to Santorini.
Santorini Volcano

The important departure will be provided by your tour guide. If you opt to go to the volcano, you must pay a 5€ admission charge. Palea Kameni
The island of Palea Kameni, with its famed hot springs on the west side, is the next destination. We will pause for 30 minutes to swim. The boat will come to a stop at around 30-40 meters, after which you will have to swim to reach the hot waters. It is crucial to mention that clients who choose to swim at the hot springs must be strong and expert swimmers, as they will have to swim a pretty considerable distance (30-40 meters).

The journey will begin in the “Old Port of Fira,” which is only accessible by cable car (6€ per way, departing every 15 minutes) or by walking down the stairs (30 minutes). The conference will take place at the “Santo Star” headquarters in the old port. We anticipate that all passengers will arrive 30 minutes before the departure time.
Before you go, be aware of the following:
- When you book, you will receive confirmation.
- It is not wheelchair accessible.
- Travelers should be in good physical condition.
- We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes, and a sun hat, and bring a bottle of water with you on the volcanic trip.
- Dark-colored swimsuits are recommended to avoid sulfur stains.
- To prevent delays, we recommend that our clients arrive at the cable car or begin descending the steps 45 minutes before their departure.
- Every boat has a minibar where you can purchase water and food.
