Tour itinerary
Your trip starts in the heart of Moab, where you’ll meet your guide and board a comfortable 4WD vehicle for the 5-mile (8-kilometer) journey to the park. Your off-road journey begins as you enter Arches National Park when you exit the road at Doc Williams Point.
More than 2,000 gigantic sandstone arches are spread across the park, making it the world’s biggest collection of naturally occurring arches. Along this enormous panorama of rich red dirt carved by time, you’ll also find pinnacles, fins, and rocks.
If you recognize part of this scenery, it’s probably because you’ve seen it in a movie. Scenes from popular films including Thelma and Louise, as well as Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, were shot at the park.
If you take the nighttime trip, you could watch a flaming sunset light the red rocks. Stars twinkle in one of the country’s darkest skies after the sun has set.
You’ll depart the park through an ancient cowboy route near the end of the trip. It is here that you will find fossilized dinosaur tracks etched into the dirt.
Finally, after many hours of backcountry exploration in southern Utah terrain, your trip concludes in the heart of Moab from the same starting point.

Our guide’s pleasant nature. Observing one of our traveling companions ascend the arches. Being thrown down an extremely steep, rocky slope. Seeing the grandeur of nature – Moab’s otherworldliness.
