Tour itinerary

Day 1: Tunis - Kairouan - Tozeur

Visit the historic city of Kairouan and the Great Mosque

Day 2:Tozeur - Tamerza - Chebika - Mides - Sidi Bouhlel - Chott el Jerid - Nefta - Ong Jemel

Visit Tamerza Canyons, Mides Valley, and Sidi Bouhlel Canyon, where 9 scenes were filmed, including when the Jawas were attacked and buried, Jawa Rock, and Tusken Raiders scenes, as well as the Dune Sea, Krayt Dragon Ridge, and the location of the igloo of Lars Family Homestead exterior on the Chott El Jerid. The site was also utilized in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith’s last shot. The Mos Espa film location is stunningly placed in the Desert sands. The Pod-racing arena, the Mos Espa streets, Watto’s store, the market, and Sebulba’s Café are all located here. The Yardangs, located east of the set, are where the Jedi combat between Qui-Gonn and Darth Maul in Episode I was filmed. It was also home to the Queen’s Royal Starship. Ong Jemel, often known as “the neck of the camel,” lies nearby, and it is here that Darth Maul lands on Tatooine and releases the Sith Probes. Darth Maul is seen soaring over the rocks after locating Anakin and Qui-Gon.

Day 3: Tozeur - Douz - Sahara Desert

Private 4×4 car transfer from Tozeur to Douz. Your tour begins with a breathtaking panorama, transitioning from lush palm fields to golden sand dunes. Go across the lovely dunes. Day 4:Douz - Matmata

Explore Matmata and its Troglodytes dwellings, as well as Hotel Sidi Driss, which served as the interior set for the Lars Moisture Farm and Luke Skywalker’s residence at the start of Star Wars Episode III: A New Hope. Overnight at Hotel Sidi Driss (inside of Lars Homestead) or another three-star establishment.

Day 5: Matmata - Ksar Hadada - Ksar Oued Soltane - Tataouine

The best-preserved Ksar in southern Tunisia is Ksar Ouled Soltane. Ksar Hadada is another film site of the Slave Quarters Row in Star Wars Episode I. It was also one of the locations of the Slave Quarters Row in the Phantom Menace. Inside Ksar Hadada, a balcony was utilized to film Shmi and Qui-Gon Jin discussing Anakin as he works on his Podracer, Called Tataouine. While the film was not shot in this city, the name was used to inspire the name of a desert planet.

Day 6:

Your first destination will be Medenine, where you will begin your tour of the Slave Quarters Row and where Anakin and Shmi dwelt. Examine the Cantina’s exterior. The filming site for the Millenium Falcon taking off from Mos Eisley is near the Cantina. A medieval mosque located just outside of Ajim town was utilized for exterior shots of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s residence where he dwelt during his exile.
