Tour itinerary

Your 4-day journey begins at the Labuan Bajo Airport, where your guide will meet you and transport you to your accommodation. Following check-in and lunch, your guide will take you directly to the dock, where your private boat will be waiting. Go to Bidadari island, where you may rest or explore the surrounding seas. Sail back to your accommodation in the late afternoon and have a good night’s sleep before the next day’s trip.

On day 2, after breakfast in the hotel and a short trip to the pier of Labuan Bajo, your Komodo adventure will begin. Sail through the waters to Rinca Island (based on availability) and trek through the dry forest, where the Komodo dragons live. See other wild and unique animals like deer, wild buffalo, macaque, wild pigs, and a wide variety of birds. Move on to Kalong Island to have lunch, try snorkeling, and see the flying foxes set out from the mangrove forest in the evenings. Have your dinner and a night’s rest onboard.

On day 3, get up early and go on a hike in the dry forest, where you’ll encounter plenty of huge lizards and other exotic creatures and birds like the smaller sulfur-crested cockatoo, collared kingfisher, and others. You will be led inside the Komodo National Park by a native expert ranger. Return to the boat and go swimming, snorkeling, or exploring at the distinctive Pink Beach. Sail near Manta Point after lunch to observe the massive mantas. Return to Labuan Bajo, settle into your accommodation, and have a delicious meal.

After breakfast at the hotel on the last day, visit the Batu Cermin Cave, which is full of beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, and watch rays of light leak through the cave walls. Visit a local market after the cave to observe the many products on offer. Before returning to the airport or any other location in Labuan Bajo, pick up mementos at the market.

Testimonials

really nice guide, wonderful snorkeling spots, beaches, we saw a flying fox from the mangrove and a beautiful sunset, amazing sunrise, the food provided on the boat was incredible – a lot of food, very tasty, good chance to try some local/traditional food here, hotel and boat were great (we had a small boat, no hot water for showering, but overall better than expected), we visited Batu Cave and a local market – it was really great. these 4 days in Indonesia were amazing.

We spotted 5 Komodo dragons of various sizes, as well as wild boar, deer, and many birds. The Komodo dragons were seen up near and personal, with the opportunity to film them in motion. At the beach, two people were devouring a turtle corpse. The guides were kind and knowledgeable about the Komodo dragon’s life, reproduction, hatching, and early life, food, and so on. The trails were not difficult, despite the fact that it was fairly warm. There are plenty of restrooms accessible.
