Testimonials
In this 4-day-safari-kenya-from-nairobi the Maasai Mara was breathtaking. However, you only spend one evening and one (long) day in the park. Unless you take the Maasai village and boat trip in Naivasha (you simply wait around if you don’t want to participate, which is sad), Day 3 is basically a travel day. There’s no need to travel to Nakuru…beautiful it’s but not worth the journey time. It pales in contrast to the Maasai Mara. The basic lodgings at Maasai Mara are pretty basic and located OUTSIDE the park, but they have everything you need (except a cool beer) and are clean. It’s a concrete tent with comfy mattresses and a flushing toilet. The cuisine is rather repetitious, and you end up stopping at the same roadside kiosk and gift store for every meal. Take plenty of food with you. The guide was fantastic and made the tour very unforgettable. I would stay at the Maasai Mara park for a longer period of time if you can afford it.
