Things to do in Cairo

Tour itinerary

Day 1:

Picked up early in the morning from your Cairo hotel, then take to Cairo Airport for your journey to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, our driver will be waiting for you outside the airport. Begin your adventure with your experienced guide and go to Aswan to see the High Dam, the world’s biggest embankment dam erected over the Nile. Afterward, proceed to the Unfinished Obelisk, the biggest known ancient obelisk, which is located in the northern section of ancient Egypt’s stone quarries near Aswan. Via motor boat, visit the Philae Temple, which was erected during the reign of Ptolemy II (Egypt’s Greco-Roman Era).

Eventually, in the early afternoon, you will return to the ship for lodging and meals. Dinner will be served on board at night.

Day 2:

Wake early in the morning to see the Abu Simbel Temples, one of Egypt’s most beautiful temple complexes. When you arrive, your tour guide will show you around the site and tell you more about its intriguing history. When you complete, you will return to the ship for lunch before traveling to Kom Ombo. As you arrive at Kom Ombo, you will be given a guided tour of the temple. You will return to the ship for supper at the conclusion of the day.

Day 3:

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive you to Edfu Temple via horse carriage. Situated on the west bank of the Nile near Edfu, Upper Egypt, the city was known in Koin Greek during the Hellenistic period.
Return to the ship for dinner and your last night on the water.

Day 4:

Start preparing for your balloon journey by waking up before daybreak. Check out of your accommodation and leave your stuff at the ship’s reception. Experience a breathtaking morning balloon flight.
After landing, proceed to the west bank of the Nile to see the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s Mortuary Temple, Memnon’s Colossi, Karnak Temple, and lastly, Luxor Temple. Return to the ship to get your bags before being dropped off at Luxor Airport to catch your aircraft back to Cairo.
After you arrive in Cairo, our driver will be ready to take you to your hotel.
