Official Rio Christ the Redeemer Ticket via Cog Train
Travel through magnificent urban jungle before enjoying breathtaking vistas of Rio de Janeiro.
Tour itinerary
Take the Corcovado Train all the way up to the famed Christ the Redeemer monument. The train travels through a track through Tijuca National Park, the world’s biggest urban forest, providing a unique panorama of Rio de Janeiro.
Enjoy an incredible train trip that brings you right up to the foot of the Christ statue, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, and one of Brazil’s most recognized landmarks. You will wander through Brazil’s history as well as admire one of the city’s most gorgeous settings. The Corcovado Railroad was Brazil’s first electrified railroad. It was inaugurated by D. Pedro II in 1884, making it older than Christ the Redeemer himself. In reality, it was the train that brought parts for the monument’s construction for four years in a row.
Your tour begins with a ride on the century-old electric train through the Tijuca National Park’s restored Atlantic Forest. You’ll be able to take in the most breathtaking perspective of the city from the foot of the Christ statue and observe from above what makes Rio de Janeiro so remarkable.
Includes:

Testimonials
I used to believe that I paid too much for my rail ticket. But I discovered that I am grateful and will never regret purchasing the ticket from Getyourguide.com. I bought the ticket for the same-day trip online early in the morning. The response time is pretty quick; I received my ticket in about an hour. The line for purchasing tickets immediately at Cosme Velho station is quite long, and you will have to wait much longer to board the train. However, you made an excellent selection! this 1 day in Brazil was amazing.

You don’t want to miss out on this trip. After a pretty simple booking process, a.m. effort number one to visit Cristo Redentor via Uber was canceled. The commute from Barra to Rio was a disaster. The Uber driver, who did not speak English, did an outstanding job of bringing us back to the hotel. Fernanda, the hotel concierge, called the tour operator, who gladly rebooked the tickets for the afternoon. The early turmoil was worth it for attempt number two. The cog train ride up the hill was breathtaking, with views of Rio interspersed amongst the trees. The view at the summit, on the other hand, was just spectacular. Then you kneel at Christ’s feet, and devout or not, you suddenly feel rather tiny. I’ll remember that emotional moment for the rest of my life.
