Because it had snowed the night before, Jimmy had carefully prepared additional crampons for us - these were lifesaving to avoid slipping on snow and ice on the high hills near the finish!! He also gave us the crucial peak dinner, gimbap roll, and cup noodles! Eating heated ramen on top is just an unforgettable experience. Amazing climb up the mountain. The track is rather tough. The incline starts right from the beginning. The last section with the steel ropes up and down will require strong arms and core strength. Chance Kim was an exceptional guide. He agreed to our plea to start earlier owing to the heat and humidity. Excellent English. Highly recommended.
