Tour itinerary
Mykonos Town
After being picked up from your hotel or cruise ship port, you will stroll through the maze of the old town among the whitewashed houses with our guide. Petros the Pelican, Mykonos’ mascot, can be found if you’re lucky. You will have enough time to take photos.
The Windmills (Kato Milli)
You can see the Mykonos Windmills to the north of this magnificent spot on the hill. Meltemi, the powerful wind, has aided the island’s residents in milling wheat. Windmills are fairly popular on many Cycladic islands and serve the same purpose.
Little Venice
Every road you follow on the island of Mykonos will bring you to the harbor of Alefkadra, where you will be able to journey far back into the island’s past. Little Venice is located in Alefkandra. The infinite azure of the Aegean Sea may be seen from Little Venice.
Ornos
Agios Ioannis is a tiny tourist town 2.5 kilometers from Ornos in the southwest of the island. It is situated in an amphitheater across from Delos, and it combines natural beauty with good visitor lodgings.
Kalo Livadi Beach: As we continue our journey, we will travel by some of Mykonos’ most remote beaches, such as “Agia Anna” and “Kalo Livadi,” before landing at the settlement of Ano Mera.
Ano Mera
We will serve you a small lunch accompanied by a glass of tsipouro (distilled Greek Spirit) as we pass through the village’s gorgeous plaza, which is lined by outdoor tavernas and coffee shops.
Agrari Beach
This is a large sandy beach with lots of space for oneself, despite being popular with residents and visitors. It’s often divided in two, with umbrellas and sunbeds on one side and merely sand on the other. When contrasted to the rest of Mykonos, it has a crystal-clear sea and a more cheaply priced restaurant.
Monastery of Panayia Tourliani
When you get to Ano Mera, you will see the 16th-century cathedral monastery of Panagia Tourliani. It is called for the church’s dome (tours) and the holy Icon of the Virgin Mary.
Church of Paraportiani
The beautiful Panagia (Virgin Mary) Paraportiani church is one of the most photographed churches in the world, not only on Mykonos. It is situated by the sea at the entrance to the Kastro neighborhood. Its name (Paraportiani) literally means “standing next to the entrance door,” implying that the church was located close to the Castle entrance.
Agios Ioannis Diakoftis
Agios Ioannis is called from the little church of Saint John, which is placed on a hill overlooking the beach. It is one of the most privileged areas of Mykonos Island due to the breathtaking view of the sacred island of Delos and some of the greatest hotels in Mykonos. The sequence of the locations visited may vary.
Includes:
- A vehicle with air conditioning.
- Beverages containing alcohol.
- Pick-up and drop-off services are available.
- The monastery charges admission.
Testimonials
Renata and Elena were punctual, explained adjustments promptly, and drove and walked us about Mykonos. The tour provided us with an excellent sense of Mykonos Town in particular, but also of some of the beaches and monasteries at Ano Mera. I highly suggest both the firm and these girls. They’re entertaining and knowledgeable about the region.
