Tour itinerary

SSR Botanic Garden

Pamplemousses Botanical Park is a renowned tourist destination in Pamplemousses, near Port Louis, Mauritius, and the oldest botanical park in the Southern Hemisphere. The park, which is famous for its long pond of enormous water lilies (Victoria amazonica), was built in 1770 by Pierre Poivre (1719 – 1786) and spans an area of around 37 hectares. In addition to its huge waterlilies, the garden has spices, ebonies, sugar canes, and 85 different types of palms from Central America, Asia, Africa, and the Indian Ocean islands. Many trees have been planted by international leaders and nobility, including Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, Indira Gandhi, François Mitterrand, and Robert Mugabe.

Le Caudan Waterfront

Caudan, as it is now called, was the island of Mauritius’ first significant shopping development of its sort. It is still a popular shopping area for both residents and visitors. Visitors to the mall will discover the newest fashion shops and fads, as well as a famous arts and craft market known as the Craft Market, as well as specialty shops providing distinctive local items such as model ships, Indian costumes, locally produced jewelry, or art paintings by local artists. The retail center also includes theatres, a marina, a bookshop, restaurants and cafés, a museum that houses two of the world’s rarest stamps, a casino, and tax-free shopping alternatives for visitors. Despite being the island’s first retail mall, Caudan has managed to stay up with the times and preserve its charm as a contemporary waterfront mall.

Citadel Fort Adelaide

The Citadel of Port-Louis is a citadel in Port-Louis (France) that was erected in the 16th century by Spaniards and subsequently renovated in the 17th century by Frenchmen.

Grand Baie Public Beach

Grand-Baie (or Grand Bay) is a seaside community in Mauritius that is located in the Rivière du Rempart District, with the western portion lying in the Pamplemousses District.
