Alcatraz Island

Board the boat to Alcatraz at Pier 33 on San Francisco’s Embarcadero. Headsets are given for listening to the award-winning audio tour, “Doing Time,” in which you will hear about infamous criminals such as Al Capone who were held here. Learn about ‘The Rock’s’ escape attempts and listen to commentary from past convicts and personnel. This is where you will be dropped off. There is no transportation provided after Alcatraz because you can stay on the island as long as you wish until the last ship return to Pier 33.
