Tour itinerary
Knik River (Pass By)
Drive your own sled-dog team on actual snow in the middle of July with four-time Iditarod winner Dallas Seavey’s squad of mushers, handlers, and prize dogs. Begin your journey with a helicopter trip over glaciers and icebergs. We frequently encounter moose, black bears, Dall sheep, and goats. Land on a massive snow eld high on a glacier and spend an hour with elite sled dogs and their mushers who spend the entire summer here. Take a thrilling trip in real snow with the dog team. You may either stand on the runners and mush your own dog team, or you can simply ride on the sled and let the mushers run the team. After your dogsled tour, meet the canine athletes that towed your sled, listen to stories of racing 1,000-mile-long sled dog races, and, of course, take photographs with your favorite dogs. After the trip, the helicopter will fly you back to the resort above the lower glaciers, where you will witness the blue melt pools and crevasses.

Testimonials
The helicopter flight was incredible. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and had no trouble locating wildlife. He also made certain that everyone in the chopper could see everything he was displaying. The scenery was spectacular, and our pilot was able to tell us about it as we soared. The dog sledding was fantastic! Be aware that you may be in a different helicopter from the rest of your party.
