At Paradise Cove Luau, enjoy a traditional Hawaiian luau with sunset beachfront views. During this Luau experience, enjoy a welcoming Mai Tai and classic Hawaiian foods such as fresh seafood, kalua pig, and tropical fruit. View the sunset while being entertained by Hawaiian musicians, hula dancers, and fire twirlers. There are three eating options available to tailor your experience, as well as round-trip transportation from Waikiki hotels.

Tour itinerary

After being picked up in the evening from your Waikiki hotel (if this option is chosen), board a comfy coach for the short trip to the Paradise Cove Luau.

You’ll be greeted with a traditional Hawaiian lei and a Mai Tai cocktail. As you look for a table, take in the views of downtown Honolulu, Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, and Diamond Head. Explore the Hawaiian Village to explore traditional arts, crafts, and activities.

Participate in the Hukilau on the beach following the Shower of Flowers and learn traditional Hawaiian net fishing skills. Your evening will continue with a Hawaiian feast after the spectacle of the Royal Court Procession and Imu (earth oven) ritual.

Taste traditional Hawaiian cuisine, which is generally roasted in an underground oven called an imu. There are three packages available; please check the Itinerary section below for a sample meal and a complete list of activities. After dinner, experience the Paradise Cove Extravaganza, which includes live music, singing, and dance from Polynesia.

Enjoy transportation back to your Waikiki hotel for drop-off after the 3-hour evening of entertainment and eating (if the option is accepted).

ITINERARY: The following activities are available in Paradise Cove: Arts and Crafts: The arts and crafts of old Hawaii are as beautiful as they are detailed and difficult. Visit the Hawaiian Village and participate in arts and crafts presentations while in Paradise Cove. Learn how to make a traditional Hawaiian lei or take home temporary Polynesian tattoos for a bit more permanent memento. Hawaiian Games: Games were invented in ancient Hawaii as a kind of amusement, but also to help soldiers enhance their talents. You may participate in some of the more popular traditional Hawaiian games in Paradise Cove. Try ‘O’o the (spear throwing), ‘Ulu maika (rolling stone disks), and Moa page (dart sliding) to put your talents to the test. Flowers in a Shower: Imagine yourself standing on a lovely white sand beach, surrounded by fragrant island flowers. Witness experienced tree climbers scale the tallest palm trees and spread the aloha of the islands with a flower cascade, transforming this dream-like landscape into an experience you’ll never forget. Hukilau on the Beach: With a nightly Hukilau on the beach, Paradise Cove maintains the traditions of old Hawaii alive. You are cordially invited to take part in the ceremonial drawing of the fish nets to the beats of the conch shell and Hawaiian chants. Take a seat in Hawaii’s only Imu Amphitheater to witness the intricate process of traditional cooking in the Hawaiian subterranean oven.
