Along the way, stop for food and swim. Hotel transportation is offered from Las Vegas to Willow Beach, Arizona.

  • A moderate part of the Colorado River is followed by a kayak journey to Emerald Cave.

Tour itinerary

Willow Beach Marina:

After getting fitted for your kayak and receiving a safety briefing, you’ll embark on a kayaking excursion appropriate for all ability levels from Willow Beach Marina in Arizona.

Emerald Cove:

Paddle north on the Colorado River for about 2 miles (in either direction) to the magnificent Emerald Cave. You’ll stop twice along the journey for rest and animal sightings, to swim, or simply to photograph the stunning scenery. This trip includes a short 15-minute trek above the river to a cliff with great views and information on the River Gaugers.

Willow Beach:

When you return to Willow Beach, you may either take the van back to Las Vegas or self-drive to your next adventure!

  • There are single (1-person) and tandem (2-person) kayaks available.

Willow Beach Marina is located at 25804 N Willow Beach in Willow Beach, Arizona 86445.
Willow Beach Marina is a one-hour drive from the Las Vegas Strip. Willow Beach has three launch times: 11:45, 12:15, and 12:45. These may vary depending on the weather and season. The operator will notify you of the time to meet them at Willow Beach Marina 24-48 hours in advance.

Pickup details:

  •  11:45 am, 12:15 pm, and 12:45 pm are the LAUNCH TIMES. • Pick-up from hotels commences approximately 90 minutes prior to launch time • If your hotel is not on the pick-up list, please pick the one that is closest to your location. If you are unsure of which hotel is closest to you, please contact the operator after you have made your booking

 

Before you go, be aware of the following:

  • When you book, you will receive confirmation.
  • Wheelchair access is not available.
  • Service animals are permitted.
  • It is not suggested for tourists who have back difficulties.
  • There are no heart issues or any major medical disorders.
  • We have the right to cancel a booking if there are insufficient passengers.
  • Please be reminded that we pick up from Las Vegas around one hour before the departure time.
  • Most days, our tours are full, but if we do not have enough passengers to satisfy the necessary numbers for your day, we will give you another day or reimburse you 100% of your money.
  • Be aware that Emerald Cave is a grotto-style cave rather than a paddle-through cave.
  • By booking a tour, you agree to accept all risks associated with your participation in this Activity, whether known or unknown to you, including travel to and from the Activity and any events that may occur as a result of this Activity. You also agree to allow the operator to utilize images/video at their discretion.
  • The weight limit is 260 pounds.
  • The majority of passengers are able to participate.
  • There will be a maximum of 15 people on this tour/activity.
