The Palmeraie:

Pick up from Marrakech in the morning for a 35-minute journey to Jbilet Old Mountains North Palmeraie. Flight time of 40 to 60 minutes, followed by an off-road drive to camp for Berber breakfast at the tent. Flight certificate and return to your location.

Excellent experience! Very well organized and professional. Participants should be aware that the landing might be quite difficult. Our balloon basket practically collapsed. No one was wounded, however, it can be difficult for someone who is less physically active (one must hang on extremely tightly to a rope), in my view. And apparently, toppling over is not unusual (1 in 20 according to our pilot). I’d do it again, though. Oh, and spend the 30.-Euro to receive the flight video. It is completely worthwhile!

Point of convergence:

Pick up from all Marrakech Hotels by 4×4 cars. The nearest location enabling vehicle access from Riads will be notified by e-mail or SMS message the day before the flight. Make sure you have pinpointed the correct position because the automobile will only wait 10 minutes before leaving.
