On a sunset sailing cruise in Guanabara Bay, take in the splendor of Rio de Janeiro, the Marvellous City. Admire the stunning sunset while enjoying all-inclusive beverages and nibbles on your boat. Choose between a small group trip and a private tour to make your visit more unique.

Set sail from Marina do Glória and travel past three fortifications en route to Boa Viagem Island in Niterói: So José, Lage, and Santa Cruz. Enjoy the vistas in Guanabara Bay as you cruise by Oscar Niemeyer’s spectacular Niterói Museum of Contemporary Art.

Then, take a seat and enjoy the sunset over Rio de Janeiro. As the sun sets, enjoy magnificent views of the city’s most iconic attractions, such as Sugar Loaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer.

Relax with refreshments on board, such as the popular Brazilian cocktail Caipirinha, beer, and sparkling white wine, throughout the cruise. The excursion terminates at the Glória marina. There are choices for hotel pickup and drop-off.

Point of convergence:

  • Av. Infante Dom Henrique, S/N – Glória, Rio de Janeiro, RJ, 20021-140, Brazil. A member of the local partner’s staff will greet you at the Marina da Glória security gate. They will be dressed in a white shirt with the name of the local partner written on it. They will transport you to their boat called “Chama” located at A2 Pier after meeting you.

Before you go, be aware of the following:

  • The itinerary is subject to vary dependent on weather conditions or at the request of the captain.
  • Please come 15 minutes before the trip begins at the meeting area in Marina da Glória. Before the excursion, you may wait at the marina's vast and pleasant building.
