Walk through the narrow “Siq,” the high-walled cleft in the rocks that leads into the city’s core. Then, upon your first dazzling glance at the Treasury, known locally as “El-Khazneh” – Petra’s spectacular sight, comes to a halt. Discover its complex façade and learn how Indiana Jones, Transformers, and The Last Crusade were filmed here. See Petra’s elaborate tombs carved into the rock face and the magnificent theater that originally accommodated 3,000 people.
Visit the Byzantine church along the way and learn stories and facts about the brilliant Nabateans who picked, cut out, and then made this site their home so long ago. If time allows, free time to explore and hike up to the Monastery or the High Place of Sacrifice. If you have time, you may also go to The Petra Museum. Return to your Petra hotel. Many of the places in Wadi Rum have been named after Lawrence, and many sequences from the renowned film Lawrence of Arabia were shot on location here. Aside from that, there are two recent well-known films, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and The Martian, both directed by Hollywood mega-star Matt Damon. Testimonials
We had a fantastic time on our excursion. Firas, our driver, was fantastic. He was always on time, explained the tour arrangements for the day, and provided useful information about the sights we visited. He also enabled entry and early contact with site guides in places where they were available, as well as assistance with just about whatever we needed.

Beautiful experience, especially Petra and the dead sea. Jerash is also a fascinating city. They must continue with the program, as Amman entries are not included.
