Tour itinerary
The recognized quality of what Thailand can deliver to the tourism table is self-evident. From north to south, the travel possibilities are nearly limitless, with a variety of religious, natural, and historical attractions passing by with every turn. A well-balanced 6-day Thailand tour from Bangkok is all that is required to remove the veil on Amazing Thailand.
Your Thailand adventure begins with an early departure from your Bangkok hotel. We go north from Ayutthaya, the historic capital of the Siam Kingdom, to Phitsanuloke, our overnight destination. Among the historic sites are the Bang Pa In Summer Palace and the Khmer-inspired Phra Prang Sam Yot. Among the attractions on this day are the Bang Pa In Summer Palace and the Khmer-inspired Phra Prang Sam Yot, both of which are from a bygone era.
Sukhothai Historical Park, is full of impressions after day one, following in the footsteps of visiting past kingdoms of ancient Siam. Its temple remains are among the most popular tourist destinations. Our morning schedule concludes with a visit to the satellite town of Sri Satchanalai before taking a much-needed lunch break. With an overnight stay in Lampang farther north, we plan to visit the ancient town before dining at the hotel’s restaurant.
Making merit is fraught with austerity and symbolism: a trip to Thailand would be incomplete without following the early morning trails of locals paying respect to saffron-clad monks. After a long day, you arrive in Chiang Rai, our overnight destination, through Phayao. Throughout the afternoon, the gateway to the famous Golden Triangle will be extensively explored, with visits to Chiang Saen, Mae Sai, and the actual Golden Triangle as essential bucket list material.
Wat Rong Kung has to be the city’s primary attraction; its stories and white façade stand out among Thailand’s temple population and signal the start of a new day. Following that, we slowly make our way south towards Chiang Mai, the Rose of the North. Seeing the handicraft experts at work and eating a traditional Kantoke meal in Thailand’s second-biggest city round off an incredible day.
Chiang Mai offers much to do to occupy a day. We’re visiting a sustainable center that transforms animal feces into everyday home items, a royal museum, and finishing the day with breathtaking views from Doi Suthep Mountain temple. We’ll proceed to the railway station in the evening for an overnight train ride back to Bangkok, followed by an early morning shuttle back to your hotel.

Pong, our guide, was very knowledgeable and did a good job of moving us about and re-organizing things since we were there over the New Year. Many places were closed or congested due to the holiday, and he handled things admirably. The hotels were excellent, the cuisine was delicious, and there was a wide range of activities and sights to enjoy. these 6 days in Thailand were amazing.
