Tour itinerary
Day 1: Discover the Klong Saeng Wildlife Sanctuary.
When you arrive at the Chiew Larn dock, our friendly local jungle expert will greet you with a coffee and accompany you to the Klong Saeng gardens, royal temple, and suspended bridge.
We’ll begin our experience with a one-and-a-half-hour tail boat ride past the Three Brothers Rock before heading to the northeastern portion of the lake for a one-and-a-half-hour jungle educational hike.
Depending on the weather, our experienced guide will share his local fauna and flora expertise with you and complete the trek by visiting Khao Sok’s elder cave or deep jungle waterfall.
Following this jungle adventure, we will cruise to your raft house where you will be served a savory local lunch, after which you will have free time to canoe or swim in the Cheow Lan green emerald waters.
Our Jungle expert and boat captain will take you on a wildlife observation trip of the Klong Saeng sanctuary, which is home to wild elephants, tapirs, gibbons, clouded leopards, and other exotic animals, about 3 p.m.
Day 2: Submerged forests to sky temples
We will begin the day with an early morning safari, which is the greatest time to observe leaf monkeys, macaques, hornbills, and other creatures.
Following this morning cruise, we will return to the raft house where you will be served breakfast and have some free time to enjoy one last canoe ride or swim.
We will now cruise back to the dock and continue our tour by rowing through the Baan Nam Rad underwater forest and diving in its crystal blue waters.
Following a southern lunch, we will conclude our “Unseen Khao Sok” experience by ascending the Wat Nanai Sky Temple, which offers breathtaking views and is likely the most stunning temple in southern Thailand.
Leave the camp after breakfast and go on a full-day wildlife drive. You will stop for a picnic lunch and also cross the Mara River.
