Day 1: COLOMBO - KANDY
Sri Dalada Maligawa, also known as the Temple of the Holy Tooth Relic, is a Buddhist shrine in Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is housed in the old Kingdom of Kandy’s royal palace complex, which also contains the relic of the Buddha’s tooth.
Kandy Lake, also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, is an artificial lake in the center of Kandy, Sri Lanka, established by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1807 near to the Temple of the Tooth. Its size has diminished over time. It is a protected lake, and fishing is prohibited.
The Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya are located around 5.5 kilometers west of Kandy in Sri Lanka’s Central Province. It has 2 million visitors every year. It is close to the Mahaweli River. It is well-known for its orchid collection. Ascend the hill beside Kandy Lake to reach Kandy View Point for an unrivaled perspective of the city. Being a major tourist destination, the region attracts a significant number of peddlers, who frequently offer subpar goods. Keep a watch on your stuff because the neighborhood is known for significant pickpocket activity. Great views of the lake and the city may be had from the hill.

Kandy is a massive metropolis in central Sri Lanka. It is set at a level surrounded by mountains that are home to tea farms and biodiverse rainforests.
Day 2: KANDY-NUWARA ELIYA
Seetha Amman Temple is around one kilometer from Hakgala Botanical Garden and five kilometers from Nuwara Eliya. The temple is located in the Seetha Eliya village.
Hakgala Botanical Garden is one of Sri Lanka’s five botanical gardens. Peradeniya Botanical Garden, Henarathgoda Botanical Garden, Mirijjawila Botanical Garden, and Seetawaka Botanical Garden are the other four. It is Sri Lanka’s second-biggest garden.
Glenloch Tea Factory is located in the Nuwara Eliya District in Katukithula, on the road from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. Glenloch tea plantation in Katukithula has been maintained using all of the proper planting, soil dialogue, and maneuvering methods. Sri Lankan became the world’s most famous beverage betting country. Sri Lanka’s silvering waterfalls naturally process the beauty of nature, as well as the most appropriate temperature and soil conditions essential for the health flourish of the Tea Plant. The Chinmaya Mission of Sri Lanka constructed the Shri Bhakta Hanuman Temple. Ramboda is located on the Kandy-Nuwara Eliya Road, some 30 kilometers north of Nuwara Eliya on the A-5 highway, opposite the Kotmale Reservoir. The Chinmaya Mission is a Hindu spiritual organization dedicated to spreading Vedanta, the science of the self as articulated in the Vedas, notably the Upanishads, and other key Hindu writings such as the Bhagavad Gita.
Nuwara Eliya is a city in central Sri Lanka’s tea country hills. The regularly completed Hakgala Botanical Gardens displays roses and tree flora, as well as asylum monkeys and blue jaybirds. A lovely Hindu sanctuary near Seetha Amman Temple has been renovated with exact numbers.
Day 3: KANDY-SIGIRIYA
Sigiriya, also known as Sinhagiri, is a historic rock stronghold in the northern Matale District of Sri Lanka’s Central Province, near the town of Dambulla. The term alludes to a historical and archaeologically significant location characterized by a gigantic rock column over 200 meters tall.
Dambulla cave temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka that is located in the country’s central region. This location is 148 kilometers east of Colombo and 72 kilometers north of Kandy. Dambulla is Sri Lanka’s largest and best-preserved cave temple complex.
The Central Culture Fund manages the Sigiriya Museum, one of the most magnificent museums in South Asia. This museum showcases Sigiriya’s cultural, technical, and archeological worth. Visitors to the Sigiriya Museum can delve into three decades of archeological studies on Sigiriya. The sophisticated design systems shown in Sigiriya influenced the creation of the Sigiriya museum. Most crucially, the Sigiriya Museum has duplicated the clever use of water, where it both increases the beauty and quality of the surroundings as well as conservation of it for the purpose of irrigation.
In 1999, a wholesale market for vegetables and fruits was established in the Dambulla Secretariat Division of Matale District, in the core of Dambulla town. Hence, increased direct engagement of farmers in marketing agricultural goods is a significant component of the DDEC. The Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka has a capacity of 30,000 spectators. The stadium is located in the Central Province, near Dambulla, on a 60-acre (240,000 m2) land leased from the Rangiri Dambulla Temple. It is Sri Lanka’s first and only international cricket pitch in the dry zone. The Dambulla Tank (reservoir) and Dambulla Rock are visible from the stadium.
Locals refer to this ancient castle and fortress complex as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” and it attracts a large number of visitors on a regular basis. It is probably certainly the most popular tourist destination in Sri Lanka.
