Day 2: Discover the Pyramids of Giza & Sphinx & Egyptian Museum & Bazaar

Giza pyramids and Sphinx- Not only are they the greatest locations to see in Egypt, but they are also the best ancient monuments you must see in your life. The great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx are probably the most famous ancient sites in the world and the only one that still exists from the Ancient Seven Wonders of the World, and your trip to Egypt will not be complete unless you visit the Pyramids of Giza, and even if you have visited Egypt more than once, you should visit the Pyramids every time you are in Egypt, the pyramids and the Sphinx at the base of the Giza plateau, are the iconic image of Egypt, don’t forget.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, often known as the Egyptian Museum or the Museum of Cairo, is located in Cairo, Egypt, and houses a large collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. It has 120,000 objects, with a portion on exhibit and the remaining in storage.

Enjoy the old bazaar of Cairo.

Day 3: Cruising The Nile From Aswan- Visit Philae Island

The Temples of Philae, located 12 kilometers south of Aswan, was a historic pilgrimage hub for the religion of Isis and enchanted pilgrims with its power for millennia. Throughout the Pharaonic era to the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine periods, this sacred location was revered, with each monarch leaving their mark on the stones. The temples were saved from a watery grave by UNESCO’s rescue operation, which moved the structures block by block from Philae Island to Agilika Island. Today, the temples continue to enchant those who come.

Day 4:Discover The Temple of Nile - Temples of Kom Ombo & Edfu

The Temple of Kom Ombo is a unique twin temple located in Kom Ombo, Aswan Governorate, Upper Egypt. It was built between 180 and 47 BC during the Ptolemaic era. The southern half of the temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, who along with Hathor and Khonsu was the creator of the world.

This Ptolemaic temple, constructed between 237 and 57 BC, is one of Egypt’s best-preserved ancient structures. The temple is devoted to Horus, the vengeful son of Isis and Osiris, and was preserved by desert sand when pagan worship was outlawed. It is also one of the most atmospheric antique structures, with its roof still intact.

Day 5: Experience Luxor's Treasures: Valley of the Kings and Temples of Karnak and Luxor

See the Valley of the Kings, the burial location of the ancient kings. Tour three tombs, the most stunning of which will be recommended by your guide.

Pass by the ruins of King Amenhotep III’s Great Temple and the colossi of Memnon, take some photos, then return to your ship.

Karnak Temple is a massive temple complex in Luxor that dates back to 2000 BC and is devoted principally to Amun. It is a spectacular sight, second only to the Great Pyramids in popularity.

Luxor Temple is a massive Ancient Egyptian temple complex that was built around 1400 BCE on the east bank of the Nile River in the city of Luxor. It is known as pet rest in Egyptian, which means “the southern sanctuary.”

Testimonials

This 7 days in Egypt itinerary, tour’s description does not do it credit! By far the finest tour company we’ve ever used! They met us at the airport on our way to baggage claim, organized our visas, assisted us in getting our bags, and got us into the hotel without us having to worry about anything! The same goes for bringing us to the airport, Aswan, and the cruise liner. As the cruise docked, the guide for the attractions was incredibly polite, informative, and accommodating! Providing us with all the time we needed to look at the temples and Valley of the Kings, as well as tell us about the history and contemporary culture. Not to mention how fantastic our guide for the day in Cairo was – you’ll want to spend more time visiting the sights, which we did. I have to admit, as someone who is accustomed to touring the world and winging it with just a day trip here and a day trip there, I was extremely grateful to have this tour and have them assist us to negotiate the local systems, etc! This is a must-see for everyone visiting Egypt for the first time. I’d still suggest this trip if I went back to Egypt – it’s simple, pleasant, knowledgeable, and enjoyable! this 7 days in Egypt itinerary was amazing.
