Tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Cairo ‘Welcome to Egypt’

After you arrive at Cairo International Airport, your tour manager will meet you and help you before escorting you to your Cairo hotel.

Day 2: Cairo Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, your own tour guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to see the Pyramids, the iconic Sphinx, and the Valley Temple facing the Great Sphinx. Lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to the Egyptian Museum and the Tutankhamun Treasures Room. Continue your excursion to Coptic Cairo, where you will see the Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Hanging Church. Go to Cairo’s historic bazaar, Khan El Khalili. After that, board a sleeper train to Aswan. Breakfast and dinner will be served on board.

Day 3: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

As you arrive at Aswan railway station, you will be welcomed by our agent who will take you to your Nile River boat. After lunch, you will be led to the famed High Dam, the magnificent Philae temple, which is dedicated to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor, and the biggest known ancient obelisk, the Unfinished Obelisk. Return aboard the boat for dinner and an overnight stay in Aswan.

Day 4: Kom Ombo and Edfu

As you arrive at Aswan railway station, you will be welcomed by our agent who will take you to your Nile River boat. After lunch, you will be led to the famed High Dam, the magnificent Philae temple, which is dedicated to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor, and the biggest known ancient obelisk, the Unfinished Obelisk. Return aboard the boat for dinner and an overnight stay in Aswan.

Day 5: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours

Breakfast on board, then depart from your cruise to see Luxor’s West Bank, including excursions to the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and Colossi of Memnon. Return aboard the Nile Cruise and have lunch on board. Take an afternoon tea cruise on the Nile. Dinner will be served on board.

Day 6: Luxor Nile Cruise

Breakfast on board the boat before disembarking, followed by a visit to the Karnak and Luxor temples on the East Bank of Luxor with your tour guide. You will then be taken to Luxor train station, where you will board the sleeper train returning to Cairo. On the sleeper train, dinner would be provided. Spend the night in your private compartment.

Day 7: Cairo Optional Excursions

Breakfast aboard the sleeper train before arriving at Giza train station; optional tour to King Zoser’s Step Pyramid in Sakkara and Memphis. Stay the night in Cairo at your hotel.
Breakfast is the first meal of the day.

Day 8: Cairo – Fly Back Home

Breakfast at the Cairo hotel, Check out, and then be transported to Cairo Airport for your last flight.
