Tour itinerary
Day 1:
Meet your Bedouin cameleers and begin your camel journey after an early pick-up from your Douz guesthouse. Riding the camel provides wonderful views of the golden dunes and the beautiful terrain, which varies throughout the day. Lunch will be served at midday, and while the chef prepares a delightful meal, you will have the opportunity to capture the stunning desert. After lunch, you’ll continue on to the desert camp for the night. After an outstanding Berber meal, spend the night beneath the starry Desert sky with the sound of drumming around the fire.
Day 2:
Enjoy the beautiful dawn and a Berber breakfast in the early morning. Then ride the camel to experience some stunning panoramic vistas. Return to camp about midday to observe how a typical Bedouin meal is prepared. This cuisine is distinctive. After a delicious meal, you will ride the camel till dusk and witness the spectacular sunset on top of the golden dunes. End the day with a fantastic meal over the campfire, under millions of stars.
Day 3:
Wake up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a tasty breakfast with the view of an amazing sunrise. Ride the camel to discover the incredible sides of the beautiful desert. At midday, you will have a traditional healthy lunch along with the famous flatbread prepared on the open fire. Continue to ride the camel through the remarkable dunes and fantastic landscape. Your Tunisian desert adventure will wind to a close, with a camel trek back to the initial meeting point, where your return transportation to Douz awaits.
